Due to this fact, the construction of ropeways is technologically and logistically extremely demanding. The construction site is situated mostly in exposed terrain, which often does not allow the use of conventional construction machinery in their construction. In this case, it is advisable to use means of transport that are not dependent on the character of the terrain - helicopters. Helicopters as “flying cranes" have been used by our building industry for over six decades. In the second half of the 1960s, the use of helicopters in the construction of ropeways was accentuated by Transporta Chrudim, a monopolistic domestic ropeway manufacturer. After gaining positive experiences, especially from the transportation by rope segment, helicopters began to be used by the then "conventional" building industry. Gradually, the benefits of execution of different types of construction work were confirmed, and in the following years the use of helicopters was incorporated in the main technological procedures. LCA is a method that can be used to demonstrate the suitability of proposed materials, structures, or buildings in terms of their whole life cycle and its environmental impact. For the LCA evaluation it is crucial to obtain life cycle inventory (LCI) input data. The aim of the article is to define a BIM data structure for LCI purposes. The new methodology is based on standardization of non-graphic information model data structure called SNIM. Advantages of the proposed methodology have been demonstrated on the case study. Based on documents and personal inspections of this boiler room, I created a geothermal circuit scheme of this hot water boiler room, where the experimental measurements took place. Part of this paper is a diagram of the geothermal circuit, a comparison of measured values ​​within a selected characteristic day for summer and winter operation in 2020. Finally, the operation of the usage of geothermal energy in the hot water boiler room Stred I. is evaluated on all these indicators.</p> 2021-07-31T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2021 Soňa Gažíková REFRACTORY PROPERTIES AND CORROSION RESISTANCE OF FORSTERITE-SPINEL CERAMICS WITH UTILIZATION OF FLY ASH 2021-07-21T23:09:15+00:00 Martin Nguyen Radomír Sokolář <p>This article examines the process for the synthesis of forsterite–spinel refractory ceramics with utilization of fly ash and reactive alumina as sources of aluminium oxide. Raw materials were milled, mixed in different ratios and sintered at 1500 °C for 2 h. Sintered samples were characterized by XRD and SEM. Porosity, water absorption, bulk density, refractoriness, refractoriness under load, thermal shock resistance and corrosion resistance to the effects of molten iron were also investigated. The resulting properties were then compared depending on the source of aluminium oxide. Presence of spinel in fired samples led to improved microstructural and mechanical properties, thermal shock resistance and corrosion resistance.
