Current inflation in Slovakia is one of the highest in Europe. The methods used during the research were initial quantitative questionnaires. The output of these was processed using statistical methods and subsequently evaluated. The current situation requires considerable attention in the calculation of individual construction costs. As it is a very challenging process due to the unpredictable market situation in terms of inflation, the price of energy increases, which also causes the rise in the prices of materials and wages. The data obtained can be used by construction companies to calculate the construction equipment. Construction companies in Slovakia can apply the information obtained in the preparation of a quote for construction work that includes construction equipment.</p>2024-01-25T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Silvia Ďubek, Stanislava Ondrášováhttps://cjce.cz/journal/article/view/216The issue of currently offered real estate on the real estate market2023-12-29T13:12:18+00:00Kateřina Malečkováxamaleckovak@vutbr.cz<p>The real estate market has experienced a big boom in recent years. Real estate prices have risen by several percent, and owning a home is becoming less and less attainable for the middle class. What does not disappear from the market, however, are the problems that appear in housing units. Thanks to strict standards and decrees, the quality of constructions has significantly improved (especially in terms of acoustics and heat loss), but the usability of apartment areas or large rooms often falters in new buildings. We cannot easily influence the economic situation and thus the price of real estate. But what we can work with is the quality of the apartments offered and how we look at it. We have the opportunity to focus on the education of the non-specialist public and point out the aspects that need to be noticed in the real estate and to recognize the basic flaws. As long as they are not pointed out, it is difficult to change them.</p> <p>The article deals with the survey of offered housing units (new buildings), revealing frequent shortcomings, a health and opens up topics that need to be pointed out for the purpose of educating the non-specialist public and thereby improving the situation on the real estate market.</p>2024-01-25T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2023 Kateřina Malečkováhttps://cjce.cz/journal/article/view/212The Problem of determining the scope of legal easements in the spatial arrangement of engineering networks 2023-12-29T23:16:48+00:00Naďa Antošovánada.antosova@stuba.skMarek Petromarek.petro@stuba.sk<p style="font-weight: 400;">The study is analytical in nature, and the result is pointing out the possible duplication of protective zones when underground and overhead lines are laid simultaneously or when they cross, and the risk of unjust enrichment when determining the value of an adequate compensation for the scope of the easement.</p>2024-01-25T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2023 Naďa Antošová, Marek Petrohttps://cjce.cz/journal/article/view/217Progressive load-bearing structures of late modern buildings in Slovakia and their legacy2023-12-29T23:13:46+00:00Andrej Bistákandrej.bistak@stuba.skZdenka Hulínovázdenka.hulinova@stuba.skEva Boreckáeva.borecka@stuba.skHelena Ellingerováhelena.ellingerova@stuba.sk<p>We are currently facing questions related to the future of buildings that were designed in the interwar and postwar period of the 20th century. The architectural style of late modernism in socialist Czechoslovakia can be dated to the years 1958 to 1973. In the territory of today's Slovakia, late modernism manifested itself most valuable at the turn of the 1960s and 1970s in several exclusive civic buildings. Many of them were implemented using technologies that were described as progressive at the time, but after 1989, none of them significantly gained ground in the conditions of the market economy (with one exception). Today we are faced with the decision of how to restore, modernize and keep these buildings in operation, sometimes realized from the point of view of current conditions with unique technologies. This article presents a selection of notable buildings, especially from the field of healthcare and school buildings, using the example of the most well-known progressive load-bearing structures from the 1960s-1980s. At the end of the article, we deal with the relationship between prefabrication at the time, from which progressive methods were based, with the possibilities of prefabrication in the 21st century and its application in contemporary architecture and construction.</p>2023-12-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2023 Andrej Bisták, Zdenka Hulínová, Eva Borecká, Helena Ellingerováhttps://cjce.cz/journal/article/view/219EDITORIAL Vol. 9, Issue 2 (2023)2024-01-25T15:07:27+00:00Václav Venkrbeceditor@cjce.cz<p>Title page + Editorial Board + Scope & Imprint + Contents</p>2024-01-25T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2023
