Abstract

This paper deals with the theoretical methods of calculating evaporation from the surface of the water in pool halls. The motivation for comparing different approaches to the calculation is the determination of need for production of water vapor in the objects of pool halls, indoor water surfaces, wellness centers, etc. These findings are further used for the needs of design of air handling units, which are to provide the elimination of water gains in buildings. In the introductory part of the article is described the general theory of the mechanism of mass transfer over a calm water surface, and presents the current methods for the calculation of mass transfer.
