The upcoming article is a free continuation of the article "The forgotten timbered buildings of Mikulášovice", which was published in issue 01/2017. The article "Landscape umgebinde houses of the Brtníky" focuses on the development of landscape and mapping of the houses in Brtnice, in a small village in the north of Děčín district. The first part of the article focuses on the origins of the settlement and the development of the settlement structure, the second part of the analysis of the brunnery houses that co-locate and characterize the picturesque countryside.
