The realization of the public projects by design-build method appeared since last century. Abroad was realized few researches which informed about design-build method evaluation by single contractors. In the Czech Republic are projects realized by design-build also in the public sector. From the total number of projects occupy only very low percentage. This article uses the questionnaire to the research of the public contractors experiences with this method and looking for positive and negative aspects of this method in practice. The results of the research indicate the low awareness about the project realization by design-build method in the Czech Republic.
