Abstract

Suburbanization processes in the border area of Bratislava is changing the character of the original territory of the affected urban neighbourhood. New development disrupts the original build-up areas, original residential environment changes to the new. This primarily affects indigenous population. Our research revealed the perception of population growth in urban areas and uncovered the potential of border region.
