USE OF BIM AND CDE TO STREAMLINE PROCESSES OF QUALITY MANAGEMENT ON THE CONSTRUCTION SITE

Complex quality management based on effective planning, execution and archiving of quality inspections of construction works, materials, products and structures is an essential prerequisite for high-quality execution of construction of the asset. Such management can be achieved by digitizing quality inspection plans, which are based on the principles and possibilities offered by Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Common Data Environment (CDE). This article describes the possibilities, procedures and results of creating quality inspection plans and forms in CDE systems based on BIM.
