The occupational safety and health (OSH) approach in the various organizations is very different. Once the employee follows the rules of the OHS the costs for prevention are higher, however there is less occupational injuries at a workplace, productivity is high and there is a positive influence on company reputation as well. On the other hand, once the company does not follow the OHS process and do not invest in OHS, non-stable work environment is created and the sanctions might be critical for the company, especially for small companies. An appropriate means of obtaining specific indicators is a mathematical model that expresses the dependence between costs of prevention and accident costs in relation to attitudes towards OSH. This decision is very important and directly influences on employee´s lives.
