The article's aim is to analyse the effect of a façade's aesthetic and look on the complexity of technological preparation for construction, by comparing two different construction techniques of thermal insulation. The article contains three logically outlined parts. The first part contains a brief analysis of the techniques and construction of thermal insulation, focusing on basic structure and implementation. The second part deals with the specifics of the work required and costs. The third and final part tests the levels of complexity of the technological preparation required for construction of thermal insulation on a block of flats, where the façade is a combination of contact and vented thermal insulation system.
