because of their design or durability against the aggressive environment around the buildings. Textile Reinforced Concrete (TRC) was mainly used for the shells. Application of TRC for the facades structures started a few years ago. The main idea of this composite was to create the very thin structures which cannot be made from ordinary reinforced concrete due the risk of corrosion of steel reinforcement but with the strength on the high required level. These subtle structures distinctly reduce amount of concrete and thus reduce the environmental footprint. This paper presents a comparison of the ordinary facade panel and textile reinforced facade panel by LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) analysis of their entire lifecycle. Facade panels have been designed for experimental structure OSEEB, which was built within in the University Centre of Energy Efficient Buildings at CTU in Prague supported by grant Technology Agency (TAČR)
